Egersund Fisk was established in 1922 and is among the largest pelagic players in the North Atlantic. The company processes Atlantic herring and Atlantic mackerel for human consumption in addition to production of fishoil and fishmeal. Egersund Fisk has its factories located at Egersund in Southern-Norway and Tromsø and Lofoten in Northern-Norway. HitraMat is the leading crab processor in Europe and a number one supplier of whole fresh crab to the Norwegian market.
